Description
High performance tape 6105 is a thin double-coated solvent acrylic polyester (PES) tape with a red filmic liner. It has a siliconized red polypropylene release system for a professional easy use.
Suitable for internal and external applications. Exhibits a high level of adhesion, will bond high and low surface energy materials. With a high tack, exceptional shear resistance and good UV resistance.
It will bond many different substrates including metals, glass, wood, most plastics and painted surfaces. Often used to hem large banners and bond plastics in signage. 6105 is most useful in panel, nameplate, profile, decorative trim and banner hemming applications.
Temperature range: -30°C to 120°C
Thickness: 0.25mm
Available in 12mm, 19mm and 25mm x 0.25mm x 50m (other variations available upon request)

How to apply high performance tape 6105
Before applying high performance tape 6105, surfaces should be clean, dry and free of any dirt, dust and grease. For the best results, we recommend using CTA IPA Cleaner Degreaser.
- Use sufficient pressure over the whole surface at room temperature to ensure maximum adhesion to substrates.
- The ideal application temperature is between 15 – 25°C.
- Primers can increase the bond durability and surface tension for difficult to bond materials. We recommend CTA Primer or CTA UV Identifiable Primer to achieve the best results.
- Ensure uniform stress distribution.
