Die Cutting & Conversion

Die cutting and conversion is the process of using a die to shear pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes or foam. Having a tape die cut to suit your application requirements can vastly speed up your production process and assembly time, in addition to improving aesthetics.

The die cutting process is often used within the industrial sector by signage companies for letters, to the automotive industry for badges and trim.

Most of our products can be re-engineered from an original roll to a die cut tape, including our double- and single-sided tape ranges and even our re-closable fastener range. The adjacent and below images show our Clear foamed acrylic tape 6110c die cut to required dimensions and shape, presented on an oversized liner that enables easy removal from the liner and onto a component.

Below are a few images of our double sided tapes that have been converted into bespoke shapes. The first image is of our 6110 clear acrylic tape die cut and presented on an oversized liner. The second image is a double sided tape cut into strips to be used as double sided pads within the signage industry.
