High-performance 6116LSE foam tape is a double-sided, black, acrylic adhesive tape, designed for demanding applications, especially when bonding low surface energy materials. It is commonly used for bonding substrates, such as ceramics and silicones. This tape offers excellent shear strength, as well as superior UV and solvent resistance. Widely used across various industries, it is particularly effective in industrial manufacturing applications.

How to apply high performance acrylic foam tape 6116LSE
Before applying high performance acrylic foam tape 6116LSE surfaces should be clean, dry and free of any dirt, dust and grease. For the best results, we recommend using a degreasing product such as our CTA IPA Cleaner Degreaser.
- Use sufficient pressure over the whole surface at room temperature to ensure maximum adhesion to substrates.
- The ideal application temperature is between 15 – 25°C.
- Primers can increase the bond durability and surface tension for difficult to bond materials. We recommend CTA Primer or CTA UV Identifiable Primer to achieve the best results.
- Ensure uniform stress distribution.
