Description
Grey foamed acrylic tape 6117 is an ultra high performance, double-sided tape with a thickness of 1.1mm. It has a red filmic easy release liner. Suitable for plastics, metals and other HSE (high surface energy) surfaces.
Unaffected by UV and has great water resistance. Suitable for long term bonding applications, internal and external.
Often used for bonding automotive accessories, commercial vehicle panels and signage.
Temperature range: -20°C to +180°C
Thickness: 1.1mm
Available in 12mm, 19mm, 25mm x 33m (other variations available).

How to apply grey double sided tape 6117
Before applying this acrylic tape, surfaces should be clean, dry and free of any dirt, dust and grease. For the best results, we recommend using CTA IPA Cleaner Degreaser.
- Use sufficient pressure over the whole surface at room temperature to ensure maximum adhesion to substrates.
- The ideal application temperature is between 15 – 25°C.
- Primers can increase the bond durability and surface tension for difficult to bond materials. We recommend CTA Primer or CTA UV Identifiable Primer to achieve the best results.
- Ensure uniform stress distribution.
