High Performance Acrylic Foam Tapes
Our 6000 series structural acrylic tapes are high-performance adhesive tapes designed for demanding metal bonding applications. They provide strong, durable
bonds on metals such as aluminium and offer excellent temperature resistance, high shear strength and suitability for both interior and exterior use.
These foamed acrylic tapes, identified by their red liner, provide an effective alternative to mechanical fixings, allowing even stress distribution while absorbing shock and vibration.

Metal to metal Application
There are many different situations where an adhesive or tape can bond metals together. Typical applications would be aluminium panel pre or post powder coated, Aluminium and steel fabrication where it is difficult or not required to rivet or weld. This method is also advantageous when you need to bond dissimilar materials i.e bonding plastic panels to metal or acrylic sheets to dibond.
