Description
CTA 2155 is a two component crystal clear structural methacrylate with a 1:1 ratio adhesive. It was designed for the bonding of high strength plastic and composites. This grade is an advanced liquid composite which combines shock resistance and toughness from a unique blend of hybrid rubbers. It has a high tensile shear strength from an innovative liquid plastic resin. High viscosity non slump. Eliminates stress cracking. Once bonded with fusion of chemicals achieves an ultra high strength bond with excellent chemical and environmental resistance.
Working time: 1 – 2 minutes
Fixture time: 4 – 5 minutes
Temperature range: -55°C to + 125°C (Short term 220°C)
Available in 50ml and 400ml.

How to apply two part structural adhesives
Our two part structural adhesive 2155 has a 1-2 minute working life with a 4-5 minute fixture time. Before dispensing, ensure that surfaces are clean, dry and free of any dirt, dust and grease. For the best results, we recommend using CTA IPA Cleaner Degreaser.
- Use sufficient pressure over the whole surface at room temperature to ensure maximum adhesion to substrates.
- The ideal application temperature is between 15 – 25°C.
- Primers can increase the bond durability and surface tension for difficult to bond materials. We recommend CTA Primer or CTA UV Identifiable Primer to achieve the best results.
- Ensure uniform stress distribution.

Purchasing information
Our two part structural adhesive 2155 is available in 50ml and 400ml for use with manual or pneumatic applicator guns and nozzles. If a larger volume is required, we are able to supply 20 litre pails and 200 litre drums, which also require bulk dispensing units. Trial kits are also available for this product.
