The 60FRHB is a premium flame-retardant, high-bond foamed acrylic tape designed for strength, safety, and reliability. This tape is engineered using the latest anti-combustion technology, to self extinguish when exposed to heat and flame. Combining strong bonding power with built-in flame resistance. Made from acrylic foam laminated with a specially formulated acrylic adhesive, both layers are infused with fire-resistant additives. Finished in black with a red film liner.
The 60FRHB Flame Retardant High Bond Tape is designed for critical bonding applications where flammability, smoke generation, or toxic gas release cannot be compromised. How to apply 60FRHB Flame Retardant High Bond Tape
Before applying this tape, surfaces should be clean, dry and free of any dirt, dust and grease. For the best results, we recommend using CTA IPA Cleaner Degreaser.
- Use sufficient pressure over the whole surface at room temperature to ensure maximum adhesion to substrates.
- The ideal application temperature is between 15 – 25°C.
- Primers can increase the bond durability and surface tension for difficult to bond materials. We recommend CTA Primer or CTA UV Identifiable Primer to achieve the best results.
- Ensure uniform stress distribution.
