CTA Limited recently sponsored a Formula 3 race car – in a true test of bonding safety! Here we talk to Race Driver Chris Davison from IGD Racing about his team’s performance in the recent Monoposto Championship in Northampton.
That looks like an amazing piece of kit, Chris, tell us more…
“This is the superb Dallara Formula 3 vehicle (2001 model) whose engine is a race tuned Opel 2.0L coupled with 240 BHP. It goes from 0-60 in a blistering 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 160mph. It’s quite a piece of kit to drive!”
What about you and your career, Chris?
“I’ve always been passionate about cars, driving, and competing at speed. I have been a competitive racer since about 2006, and the Dallara is my current car. Since I started, I have competed in 43 races, had six wins, 13 podium finishes and six fastest laps.”
What’s the story with the silverware?
“Yes! Like I said, this was from the Monoposto Championship Walter Hayes Trophy meeting which was held on the 17th and 18th August this year, at the legendary Silverstone GP track in Northamptonshire. This award was for second place which was a tremendous achievement, given there was a field of 50 competitors on the grid – including Formula 2 machinery!”
What about your relationship with CTA LTD?

I don’t need to worry about CTA’s performance on the track, I just focus on my own!
