CTA Cyanoacrylate Activator Spray 1150 is specifically designed to accelerate the curing of cyanoacrylate adhesive. This activator is made from (DMPT-free) organic solvent and is a translucent / clear colour. CTA Cyanoacrylate Activator 1150 is very versatile and can be used both pre and post assembly.

Application examples when using Cyanoacrylate Activator Spray 1150

• Bonding acrylic or polycarbonate displays, lenses, or covers.
• Bonding flexible rubber gaskets, seals, or vibration dampers to metal or composite housings.
• Securing wires, small connectors, or components in circuit assemblies or cable harnesses.
• Bonding plastic casings for devices like earphones, phone accessories, or wearable gadgets.
• Bonding decorative trims, emblems, or rubber seals in automotive interior assembly.
• Woodworking, including mitre joints, picture frames, skirting boards and decorative trim.
• Furniture assembly.
• Kitchen installations, including worktop edging, cabinetry, architrave, cornice and pelmets.

How to use Cyanoacrylate Activator Spray 1150

Pre Assembly:

1. Spray/apply activator to one surface, if applicable chose to activate the most porous substrate.
2. Allow the activator to flash off so the surface appears to be dry.
3. Apply the cyanoacrylate adhesive to the non-activated surface.
4. Assemble components and apply light pressure for 10 to 15 seconds.

Post Assembly:

1. Assemble components bonded with cyanoacrylate.
2. Spray the activator over the bond-line ensuring full coverage.
3. Leave assembly for 10 seconds, following which the cyanoacrylate surface should be dry and tack free.
4. Cure through volume will take longer and will depend on the adhesive thickness (up to 2 minutes).
