Description
Soudal Glasfibre Blanket is a fibreglass mat for body repair. It is a non-woven fibreglass matting tissue used with Poly Liquid or Polyset to strengthen surface repairs or for the preparation of new parts.
Available in 0.5m² and 1m² tissue.
Applications for Soudal Glasfibre Blanket

Instructions
- Cut the fibreglass to the correct size, allowing approximately a 3 cm overlap on all sides. Fray the overlapping edges to create a smooth transition. Mix the required amount of Poly Liquid with 2–4% hardener in the supplied cup until a homogeneous mixture without colour differences is achieved. Using a brush, apply part of the mixture to the substrate, then soak the fibreglass mat and press it firmly onto the surface. After the previous layer has dried, repeat the process to increase stiffness, ensuring each successive mat is 1 cm larger than the previous one. Once hardened, sand with very coarse sandpaper or a grinding wheel, then apply a thin layer of Metal Plastic to achieve a good finish.
