Description
Soudal Poly Liquid is a polyester resin for body repair. It is a pre-accelerated, two-component polyester resin used in combination with fibreglass tissue for repairing tears, holes, gaps, and cracks in metal, timber, and polyester surfaces.
Available in brown in 1kg metal tin.
Applications of Soudal Poly Liquid
- Filling of scratches, tears, dents in metal plates, including zinc and galvanised steel.
- Repairing scratches, cracks, small holes and dents on a car.
- Repairs of metal, polyester and wooden surfaces.
- Repairing of small holes and dents in car body parts.
- Replacing or reinforcing of rusted through parts.

Instructions
- When used with fibreglass mat, cut the fibreglass to the correct size, allowing a 3 cm overlap on all sides. Fray the overlapping edges to ensure a smooth transition. Mix the required amount of Poly Liquid with 2–4% hardener in the supplied cup until a uniform mixture without colour differences is achieved. Using a brush, apply part of the mixture to the substrate, then soak the fibreglass mat and press it firmly onto the surface. After the previous layer has dried, repeat the process to increase stiffness, ensuring each successive mat is 1 cm larger than the previous one. Once hardened, sand with very coarse sandpaper or a grinding wheel, then apply a thin layer of Metal Plastic to achieve a good finish.
