How to Use
- Clean all bonding surfaces thoroughly using Metal Adhesives IPA Cleaner / Degreaser and a lint-free cloth before application.
- For improved bond strength and durability on difficult substrates, apply Metal Adhesives Primer or Metal Adhesives UV Identifiable Primer.
- Carry out a dry run before applying adhesive to ensure you have enough space to complete the application in one continuous movement.
- Attach the supplied nozzle to the cartridge and load it into the applicator gun.
- Squeeze the trigger until adhesive flows evenly from the nozzle tip.
- Apply the adhesive bead directly onto the required surface area.
- Join the components together and apply consistent pressure across the entire bonded area at room temperature to achieve maximum adhesion.
- If required, smooth or remove excess adhesive while wearing protective gloves.
- Allow the bond to cure in line with the recommended working and fixture times.
- For partially used cartridges, leave the cured nozzle attached. When ready to reuse, remove the old nozzle and fit a new one.
- Compatible with A20 Applicator Guns and Nozzles.
Recommended Supporting Products
Metal Adhesive IPA Cleaner Degreaser
Metal Adhesive IPA Cleaner Degreaser is formulated with 99.8% pure isopropyl alcohol and is specifically developed to prepare surfaces and substrates prior to bonding. It is suitable for use on metals, most plastics, and elastomers, and is free from CFCs, HCFCs, and ODPs. The cleaner effectively removes oils, oxides, residues, and other contaminants that can weaken bond performance, including surface contamination caused by handling or skin contact. It is also recommended for preparing newly manufactured parts before adhesive application, as proper surface preparation is essential for achieving a strong, long-lasting bond. For best results, it should be used in conjunction with a recommended micro lint-free cloth.

Metal Adhesives Primer (Red)
Metal Adhesives Primer (Red) is designed to improve adhesion on substrates that are typically difficult to bond. When applied, it creates a surface key that helps selected tapes and adhesives achieve a stronger, more reliable bond. Technically, the primer works by increasing the surface energy of the material, enhancing the interaction between the adhesive and the substrate. It is suitable for a wide range of applications, including painted metal surfaces, and can also be used on polyethylene and polypropylene.
